Jealousy was not fun for the Kenji Sato. Before Emi came along and changed him, I can see him being the type to get jealous easily. Why would you need to talk to other people anyway? You had him, he was the best. He’d make it real obvious too, suddenly wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you close, or the following days he has you wear his iconic jacket while you’re out with him so everyone knows exactly who and what you two are. If it gets to the better of him, he’ll get all pouty about it. He wants all your attention, your eyes all over him and him only. Maybe even hands but that’s a different thing. But I think after Emi’s influence, it’s less possessive and he’s grown to trust you with others instead of letting his feelings get in the way. Of course he’s not immune to jealousy, but you notice it a lot less. It’s less suffocating for you and you’re grateful he’s grown. You did love the pouty face he’d make though, it was cute.

Now if you were jealous, which is really no surprise.. Kenji had thousands of admirers, he had gifts on his doorstep like every other day. He’ll do everything to prove and reassure you that you’re the only one who has his heart. He’ll post you on his social media, take you out on dates, all those things to wash your worries away. Lastly, he’ll hold you in his arms at night and whisper everything he loves about you. Everything you were silently insecure about, he loved. Every date you thought he forgot, he remembered. And to meet a guy like that? How lucky can you be? (He tells you he’s luckier of course. <3)

I think he’s a messy kisser for the most part 🧐. (Forgive me in advance for this part. I am not very good at these things.) When he can take his time, he’s slow and gentle. Genuinely just trying to show you that yeah, he loves you, so damn much. And he’s going to show that through his passion by taking things slow so you can really feel his devotion. Other times, because he’s always in a rush, he’ll do a messy but clearly desperate kiss. He doesn’t like leaving without one, and you can describe him kissing you like it’s his last, (because it’s really not a far-fetched guess considering his line of work) his hand behind your head and pressing your lips against his in an almost ravenous manner. He does give you a very quick kiss on the forehead and runs off after finishing, leaving you a little dazed.

He LOVES to take you out on night rides. If ever you get a little nervous/have a fear of motorcycles, he’ll talk you all the way through via the cardo he put into your helmet. He’ll take you to some nice cafes or restaurants around Tokyo, other time’s he’ll bring you to some favourite childhood spot of his. When you arrive, he’ll tell you about his mother and the memories he’s made in this very special spot. It warms your heart to see his expression be so fond when he talks about his childhood – he truly misses it.

Before you knew of Kenji’s identity, I think it would be funny if you hated Ultraman. You just LOATHED the guy, Kenji asked your thoughts on Ultraman on the first date and you went on a rant about how he threw your car at a Kaiju only to miss. (He felt so embarrassed). It would be funnier if afterwards, he began to actually do his job as Ultraman properly.. and avoided cars on your street and avenue. He wanted to make sure you didn’t utterly hate Ultraman before revealing that he was him.

It would be cute if you and him knew each other like, much earlier. And you called him Ken. And then he made that his alias while he was becoming an All-Star baseball player. :) He’ll brag about it all the time in interviews too, that you’re the reason he uses it. <3

He’s the typa guy to have a picture of you in his room, behind his phone case, in his wallet, in his car and literally anywhere he can get his hands on. He bought a polaroid camera just to take pictures of you, he could care less about the price of film or the camera itself.. he just wanted to have as many pictures of you as possible. He’ll brag about it to his baseball teammates too, considering he also keeps one in his pockets for good luck. :)

Ever since your mission with Hotarubi, you've been hanging around there more often. It was a breath of fresh air to have ghouls that actually valued who you were and your safety. Not to mention, their dorms were calming to be in. A true joy. You sat in the tea room, sipping on some blend that Subaru had made.

"How have you been?" Haku asked, sitting across from you. His gaze was focused on papers in front of him.

You hummed and set your teacup down. "Honestly, I want to get off campus. I feel like I'm being suffocated."

"Really?" He shuffled through the papers and picked one out. "But the campus is huge. It's odd for you to feel that way."

"I guess I want to be in the real world for a bit."

Sure, you went out to the real world during missions. But it wasn't the same. You wanted to walk around the city, go to cafes, go shopping. Like a normal person. Being surrounded by supernatural dangers constantly was taking its toll. Not to mention, you felt somewhat jealous whenever you saw Shu and Leo just leaving campus whenever they wanted and having fun. You wanted to have fun too.

"You know, a new cat cafe opened up in Tokyo. We can go visit."

You sighed and shook your head, leaning back. "It's fine. It's too much of a hassle to get a permit."

Haku frowned. "Let me handle it. I'll get the permit, take you out, and we can have fun. No missions, no ghouls."

You gave him a playful smile. "You're a ghoul, Haku."

He let out a chuckle. Despite your initial complaining, you didn't seem too closed off to the idea. It would be fun, afterall. Haku’s eyes traveled over your form. God, he wanted to be your boyfriend. He wanted to hold your hand, to walk with you to classes. He wanted to take you on dates, to see you blush. He wanted to see those pretty lips of yours to call his name, to moan, to whimper. To wrap around- 

Too far. He shook his head and gave you a lazy smile. “So it’s a date?”

"Sure, why not?" You said, chugging the rest of your tea. You stood up. "Speaking of dates, I have a study date with Kaito."

"Sure." His eyes darkened for just a moment. "I'll text you."

You were grateful for Haku. He had always been there for you since the beginning. Even when you wanted to run away, he was there by your side. You didn't even realize how much you relied on him. On his calm demeanor and his wise words. Without Haku, you probably would have gone insane long ago.

You found yourself looking forward to this outing. It would take at least a week to get the permit. That whole week, you were jumpy and excited. Everyone had started to take notice. For some reason, you kept it secret. You knew that someone would want to tag along. It wasn't as if you didn't want that… no, it was. You didn't want anyone to tag along. You wanted it to be just you and Haku. No one else. 

When the day finally came, you went to the station a bit early to meet with Haku. And to your surprise, he was already there. It was odd to see him in his casual clothes. A neatly ironed white button down, stylish forest green pants, his hair nicely styled. He looked good. You walked up to him with a smile. He turned to you, blinking. His eyes lit up as he studied you. A blush spread across your cheeks and you turned away. You sheepishly stepped closer to him.

"Hi."

"Hi." He replied, smiling down at you. "You look… cute."

You didn't know how to react and just muttered out a thanks. Haku led you onto the train and towards the bench. When you sat down, he sat close to you. His shoulder was touching yours. Okay, this vibe was definitely more than friendly. When he said it was a date, you thought it was just a joking comment. But now you were positive that this was, in fact, a date. 

Nerves washed over you. How were you supposed to act now? Your eyes traveled over to him. He was staring at you. Shit. He was staring at you. Your hands started to sweat. This was fine. Just act like you normally do. Haku wouldn't judge you. He totally wouldn't act like you're some weirdo and lose any positive feelings for you.

"Ah!" He took out his phone and opened it. After tapping the screen several times, he tilted it towards you. "This is what they sell at the cat cafe. Basically you play with the cats first then we can eat and stuff."

You leaned closer to him. The sweet and fresh scent of his cologne hit his nose. "Oh, the food looks good! Does anything catch your eye?"

"You."

"Huh?" You turned your head to look at him. His face was close to yours.

"I said that the parfaits look good."

He leaned back, putting his phone in his pocket. He turned back to the front and crossed his arms. Haku was definitely playing with you. Your face flushed red and you turned your attention back as well. Haku made small conversation on the way to the cafe. Just simple stuff. Classes, new friends, what ghouls are causing you trouble. It was like he didn't notice how nervous and flustered you were. Or maybe he did and he just didn't want to embarrass you any further.

Haku said your name loudly, causing you to blink. "The kitty wants attention."

You looked down at the kitten that was meowing in your lap, trying to crawl up your shirt. "Oh. Sorry, little kitten."

You reached down and started to pet it. You gazed over at Haku. He had a cat in his lap, purring as it nuzzled against its palm. A flash of jealousy passed through you. It wouldn't be so bad to be that cat. You looked down at the kitten and lifted it, bringing it close to your face. It licked your nose, making you scrunch it up.

"Aww, you're such a cute kitty!" You giggled.

"I think you'd make a cute kitty."

Your head whipped over to him. "What did you say?"

Haku grinned at you. "I said that cute kitty would make a good pet."

He was most definitely fucking with you. You frowned and turned away from him. "Stop teasing me."

He scooted closer to you. "Why? It's fun?"

You let out a squeal. After protectively holding the kitten against your chest, you shot him a glare. He grinned. He was most definitely enjoying this. That feeling rose up again. The feeling of wanting to tease you over and over. Until you were a begging mess, staring up at him with those big cute eyes of yours. God, he wanted you so badly.

"Shall we eat?"

You huffed but nodded. You set the kitten down and took Haku's hand. He led you over to the cafe area. Now that it was practically confirmed this was a date, you had calmed down. Only a little. There was something about Haku's teasing that had made your nerves alleviate. Besides, you trusted him. Even if this day turned out bad, you knew you two would be friends still. He wasn't the type of person to just ghost you. Well, he was a ghoul. So he would ghoul you. Yeah.

After you two ate, you spent time exploring the city. Partway through, Haku had wrapped his hand around yours. He said it was so you wouldn't get lost in the crowd, but you knew better. Your fingers were intertwined tightly with his. By the time the two of you got back on your train, you had a smile on your face that just wouldn't go away.

Haku's arm was wrapped around your shoulder as you leaned against him. You were tired but happy. It really was a much needed day out. He let out a pleased hum and pulled you closer. This was nice. This was exactly what you needed. Haku. You needed Haku.

"Thank you for doing this." You mumbled.

He sighed softly and nodded. "Of course. Anytime."

"This… This was a date. Right?'

"If you wanted it to be."

"Haku!" You scoffed and sat up. "Be serious."

He didn't like that you scooted away from him. HIs arm brought you down to him once again. "Yes. It was a date."

"Okay."

"That's all you have to say? Okay?" He snorted. 

"Yeah. It was… okay. Nothing special."

Haku rolled his eyes. "Are you teasing me?"

"Maybe."

"We can't have that."

He grabbed your chin lightly and coaxed your gaze to his. Your breath caught in your throat as he leaned in and brushed his lips against yours. It was at this moment you were glad no one else was on the train. You leaned in and pressed your lips against his. The kiss was soft, the lingering taste of sweets on his lips from the cafe food. A shiver ran down your spine as he tried to pull you impossibly closer.

This was heaven. His lip brushed against your bottom lip, asking for access. You parted your lips and tilted your head, deepening the kiss. Haku groaned and pushed you backwards until you were laying on the seats. His body adjusted so he was hovering over you, his knee pressing into you. Your mind was starting to melt. You wanted more. You craved more. Your hands traveled down to his chest.

"You have now arrived at Darkwick Academy."

The doors dinged and slid open. You could hear a hiss of disgust. "Seriously? In public?"

Your face turned a dark red as you shoved Haku off you and to the ground. Ren was standing there, his lip curled in disdain. You quickly stood up and brushed yourself off, mumbling an apology. Haku's face was dusted a light pink as he tried to hold back his laughter. After he stood, he grabbed your hand and led you off the train.

"That was so embarrassing!" You groaned, squeezing your eyes shut.

Haku chuckled. "Your expression was priceless!"

"It was your fault for getting so handsy!"

"Yeah? So you don't want to kiss me again?"

"I never said that!"

"Good." 

Haku pulled you in for yet another kiss. His hands gripped your hips as he tugged you close once again. Oh god. You were going to get addicted if he kept doing this. And for some reason, you knew that's what he wanted. Your hands gripped his shirt tightly, wrinkling the fabric. It took everything in your power to push him away.

"Wanna come over?" You mumbled, looking away. "I have tea."

"Don't mind if I do."

His arm wrapped around your waist as the two of you walked off towards your dorm. Your heart was pounding in your chest and your hands were shaking, but you couldn't be happier. Meanwhile, Ren stared out the train window as it slowly pulled out of the station. He was absolutely repulsed. Witnessing an intense makeout session was not on his list for the day.

gojo would definitely be a thrill-seeker, and he drags you along to all of the most extreme rides there are. if you're unfortunate, he'll get really sick afterwards and you'd have to take him to the kids rides. but then ten minutes later, he'll be going crazy on the teacups, enough for you to get sick instead of him.

he's the best at everything, isn't he? he'd teach you how to shoot and do a 1v1 with you, only to absolute smash the score 34-2 in record time. and the two pointer you got, he LET you have it. afterwards, if you're not tall enough, he'd lift you up and help you do a dunk. probably rips his pants at some point.

i know a zoo is random, but hear me out. gojo is obsessed with looking at cute animals, and he compares every single one to you. panda? that's you. otter? that's you. any type of fox? that's you. the baby voice is ON every time a baby animal is around. he gets fascinated by the reptile section because they remind him of digimon (random but ok) and reads every single fact file that he can, but he avoids the insect section like the plague and the only thing he'd willingly go to see is the butterflies. if there's any silly merchandise, he'll buy it, as well as a plushie of his favourite animal and yours.

p.s. DO NOT and i repeat, DO NOT try to scare him in the insect section. any minor spooks, and he will not hesitate to hollow purple.

i'm gonna be really honest, it's difficult to imagine geto doing anything as his evil curse user self (and because i refuse to rewatch the movie) however if he does take a liking to you, i do believe that he would take you to different high-end perfume stores to personally help you pick out a scent. he'll also restock on his own, and let you keep the old one so you can spray the clothes you stole from him ages ago with his perfume.

geto is a clean guy. he definitely takes care of himself (and his hair, but that's a whole other story) so treating you and him to a bath happens more frequently than you'd expect. he doesn't like going to sentos over onsens because they're less natural. his heat tolerance is unsurprisingly high as well, and he could stay in the water for hours if he really wanted to. is SO gentle when washing your back too, it would feel more like a massage if anything.

ummm... it just seems right. this one's for teen geto. he's probably a natural cat magnet. literally every single cat in the cafe would be all over him. if you get upset that no cats came to you, he'd try to put one on your lap, but it just came crawling right back to him. A for effort.

nanami kento

museums, restaurants, balconies

tell me right now that it wouldn't be cute if nanami took pictures of you taking pictures in a museum??? somehow, every single photo he has on his camera roll has you in it. would be invested if you're interested in a particular theme and bring you to more museums like that.

a true gentleman. he studies what you do and don't like to bring you to the beat restaurants that suit your tastes. will NEVER EVER let you pay the bill. if you try to insist, he already sent his card over to the waitress before you guys even ordered so there's no way they'd take your money instead. he'd also let you use your card to buy new clothes for said dates if you feel like the ones you have aren't fancy enough.

bonus!!! but if we're going to be realistic, that also means he does A LOT more work to make up for the lost money. nanami's a saver, not a spender. if he spends, he's gotta get that money back. be careful with what you pick!

you know balconies that give you a clear view of a famous or popular momument? one of those balconies. maybe for something like the tokyo tower or the tokyo skytree, then you'd get to see it light up at night!

not really a date, and she'll take you to one every year. utahime does wear traditional miko outfit, which i believe is linked to shintoism(?), so she probably used to go by herself before she even met you.

a gazebo is half indoors, half outdoors sort of, and this kind of vibe is relaxing. spring weather is the best time for dates like this. mild weather, just a bit of wind, and... pollen. utahime loves spring, but i also think she has a bad pollen allergy. she still does go on these dates knowing this because it does take a lot of stress off her shoulders, and illness isn't forever. she always brings different kinds of tea for the two of you to try.

haibara has a hobby of eating at restaurants that have little to no customers. he's totally convinced that the best food is made at these kind of places, and bonus points if there's a vending machine nearby. if you're unsure of the quality, he'll always try the meals before you do a few days prior, to see if he'll get sick or not after trying the food.

he has a lot of energy, so haibara really likes amusement parks! however, if you randomly spot a carousel in the middle of nowhere, he will drag you all the way and sit you down on the horse next to his. he's not even embarrassed having the two of you on them when only kids go on these rides. 10/10 experience still. he had the time of his life sitting on a miniature fake horse that moves up and down and goes 4mph in continuous circles.

he looks like the kind of guy that would climb trees to enjoy a view. the two of you would have a special tree that's particularly large and easy to climb, and in front of a flower field or river. even brings snacks so you can enjoy each other's company until it gets dark. if you're afraid of heights or not a good climber, he'll personally escort you all the way up, carrying you using one arm, you clinging onto his back, any way that feels most comfortable for you.

she would definitely pull up to your house in the middle of the night and tell you to get dressed and hop on her bike. or just go in your pyjamas, she doesn't mind. she's very likely to go way over the speed limit, so beware. maybe does a wheelie out of nowhere just to scare you, but she also likes how you tighten your grip on her waist.

yuki could make the worst date ideas seem so romantic. she'll drive you out to the middle of literally nowhere, the sun would be starting to set, and as soon as she parks her bike, she's running off into the distance. rolling around in the grass >>> sitting down. she'd feel like a teen all over again and just be having fun. the dirty clothes when you get back are not as fun though...

cosplaying with him!!! i think if his hair was more yellow with a bit of temporary dye, he could pass as a good naruto. also, he could look just like natsu from fairy tail. matching cosplays or not, he takes a concerning amount of pictures of you and a bit of him. mostly you. the two of you would make the mistake of buying a different kind of paint that doesn't wash off instead of face paint, and he'd be stuck with markings or details on his face for ages.

you force him to go to a puri kura. nothing is better than grumpy megumi having the most adorable filters and accessories slapped onto his face. half way through, he'd get a little into it and get used to your poses. maybe he'll do a heart with you at the end. maybe. behind his phonecase, he has the pictures hidden inside and looks at them before a mission.

you'd also force him to go to build-a-bear, but he's more willing to go here. is also willing to get matching ones. he'd pretend to be indifferent about choosing clothes, and then the next week you'd see his plush in a new shirt. sir... i know that didn't come from nowhere? would rather have you make a wish on his plush's heart instead of doing it instead, but if you beg ask nicely enough, he'll do it to yours. apparently they can have heartbeats too? megumi secretly wants yours in one of his bears one day.

this one's obvious. if the two of you get a bunch of money, this is the first stop. according to the fanbook, apparently nobara likes balenciaga and onitsuka tiger..? have you seen how expensive those brands are? either her spending habits or crazy, or she only buys for one use and then returns it the next day. or perhaps she just likes trying things on. still somehow manages to have a bunch of clothes in her closet.

100% believes in investing for summer glowups, even though she doesn't need one. is also 100% likely to get SCAMMED out of a bunch of money because of fake five star reviews. she can and will get her money back, even if that means somebody needs to get beat up. skincare, getting her roots touched up professionally, maybe her lashes or eyebrows getting done, new tights and underwear, anything that would enhance her features and make her feel better. she's proud and happy her appearance in general, but doesn't mind going the extra step to make herself look even better.

nobara is constantly torn between having a tan, or doing everything within her power to not get one. if models in magazines do get a little tan for their photoshoots in summer, then she'll try it out herself. looks so pretty with a tan! she isn't the biggest fan of swimming because the water is salty, but she loves ice cream and fresh fruit if she can get her hands on some. would kill to try drinking a coconut one day.

zenin maki

training, but make it affectionate and flirty. i will forever stand by the fact that maki could be the biggest flirt if she wanted to. she would not take the sparring seriously at all and makes an effort to fluster you whenever possible. oh, and she won't hit you at all, melee or fists. gets you a cold bottle of water if you actually tried your best during it, or if your face just looks really red (i wonder why)

maki's legwarmers as a first year will be missed... if she wasn't occupied with being a jujutsu sorcerer, i think she'd like to dwell in her sense of fashion a little more, because it gives her a sense of character and confidence. she does have different pairs of glasses, as well as a variety of accessories that are already in her possession. wouldn't mind matching socks (even if they're silly, she can defend herself) or jewellery.

very VERY random, i know. maki is a softie deep down, but she doesn't always have time or ideas for dates. if she knows she'll finish a mission early, or has some time before a mission, she'll take you out to some open space nearby and pull out some bread she had prepared. at first, it would be calm, but if you accidentally throw a piece of bread too close to where the two of you are, then all hell breaks loose. weird hc, but i do think she's scared of pigeons, especially ones that aren't wary of humans.

gamer inumaki will forever be canon in my head. insists for you to pick whatever food you want, and also leaves out the part where he wants you to pay for everything. you may have to put a muzzle on this boy because you are not risking anyone hearing the foul things that could come out of his mouth. absolutely carries you in a game or two and is so proud of it.

i think he likes snacks a lot, so no actual food would be packed except for rice balls (intentional by the way) inumaki loves feeding you and does the pocky game for every single stick in the pack. the two of you may not even speak at all and just enjoy the weather/surroundings. please let him lay his head on your lap, and please play with his hair.

might be reaching a bit but inumaki enjoys silent activities, so building legos with him??? yes. i guarantee you right now that he has at least twenty already completed sets. he'd let you buy any set you want, and the other one you didn't pick but still wanted, he'd buy it for your birthday or any gift giving holiday. may spend his savings on a huge set that would take days to finish.

yuta really doesn't have that much time on his hands, so sometimes he'd keep himself awake to go on a date that he promised on (that explains the dark circles). if he said he would take you on a date on friday, that means from 00:00 all the way up to 23:59, he HAS to within that time, or that's just breaking a promise. so if it's really late and he can't really take you anywhere, the rooftop of your house, or even the school would suffice. he likes drawing shapes with the stars. it's like cloudgazing, but just harder for you to visualise what he's looking at.

i think he cares for all living things and finds them interesting. his favourite? fishes! he's intrigued by how they technically live in a completely different world to humans, and how differently they function. if there's one of those walkways where the fish tank goes above your head and you can see the fishes swim above you, he'll be standing there for ages just watching. don't let him, because his neck will hurt after. gets really spooked if he sees sharks and they come really close.

PrettyBusy WHB Updates Summary

The wording in the announcements is a little off at times, like usual, so this is just how I understood it, but I might have misinterpreted it.

1. Response To Leaks.

Supposedly people complained and were “distressed” about datamined game assets, so they are updating game security and giving us 1000 Solomon Seals in the next few days as an apology.

2. The L Card Seraphim Return.

For the next three months, each month you can summon one of the seraphim (Raphael, Michael, and then Gabriel) and you can summon them either through the Nightmare Pass or with Solomon’s Seals. I assume this is true for all of them and not like last time where Raphael/Michael were only Solomon’s Seals and Gabriel was Nightmare Pass.

Those that have previously summoned the seraphim (from last Christmas I assume) will get the advanced Nightmare Pass for the angel that they summoned for free.

Starting with the seraphim, when you evolve L characters, new content will be unlocked, including date stories, mini illustrations, and a homescreen button. This feature will be added to other L characters over time.

3. July 31. More Hell-Oh! Talk (Text Messages).

neither you or toge are ever aware of your surroundings. period.

so everyone around you is pretty used to you whispering in each other's ears and giggling, or walking in on you kissing in the kitchen like it's not a very public and very shared space. it might have been annoying or even gross at first, but you make such a good couple that they get over it quickly. honestly, they learn to block it out, so it doesn't phase any of them anymore.

the kyoto students however, don't really know you, so they don't know how you and toge can be. this doesn't really dawn on anyone as the tokyo students make their way to greet the kyoto students for the exchange event.

while everyone was busy explaining the event to yuuji, you and toge hung back, your hands connected and swinging between you while you chatted about anything other than the event.

well, flirting. you were flirting with each other.

this didn't cease when you'd reached the kyoto students, in fact, neither of you had really realized that's what you were doing. toge was too busy signing silly and romantic lines to you about how pretty you looked in your uniform, and you were too lost in his eyes while you smacked his arm affectionately.

again, the tokyo students didn't even think twice about this. they were so used to it they were immune to the way you giggled as toge tugged you into him, your body curving against his as your arms went around his neck. now you were the one sharing hushed whispers about those lavender eyes that were going to get you into trouble.

the kyoto students were not amused. they were standing there in shock- not even bothered that there was an extra tokyo student that had seemingly come back from the dead- because you and toge were mere inches apart and it appeared you'd forgotten where you were or what you were supposed to be doing entirely.

it took a few minutes before your peers noticed the strange behavior of your visitors. until miha shyly raised a finger and pointed at you and toge, silently explaining their awkward silence.

now all eyes were on the two of you, but neither of you felt the atmosphere shift, with your arms wrapped around each other, while you whispered sweet nothings into toge's ear, as far as you two were concerned, you were the only people in the world.

"that's the cursed speech user we have to be worrried about?" todo scoffed.

mai rolled her eyes.

"yeah, well, you better hope they don't team up during the event" panda snorted.

"don't underestimate them, they'll kick your ass" maki agreed with a smirk.

the pair of you might easily come across as if you couldn't care about the event, but when it began and your demeanors changed, you were a pretty ruthless team. you hadn't knowingly given the kyoto school the wrong idea by underestimating you, but here in a few hours you'd definitely take them by surprise when you easily wipe out their numbers.

I've been thinking of a Tokyo Ghoul AU. I know, kinda basic, but hear me out.

Just to preface: If you haven't seen/read Tokyo Ghoul before the basic setting is that people live alongside ghouls in fear. Ghouls are essentially super-human beings that feed on human flesh to survive. They can not eat regular people food no matter how hard they try. The good thing is that there are ghoul-friendly places that offer ethically sourced human meat. Other than that, the only way you would know if you're in the vicinity of one is if they reveal themselves, either by accident or on purpose. The weapons of the ghouls are called kagune.

More information and character stuff below!

There is a faction called Comission of Counter Ghoul (or CCG for short) that was created to solve Ghoul related crimes. And to detain them. The operatives are nicknamed Doves by the ghouls. Their weapons of choice are quinque, which are derived from the kagune. Most of this information is from season 1, so I'm aware that some things have changed, but this is the setting my AU is based on so I don't care.

Now that that's out of the way, I've been thinking of Ratio, Sparkle, and Ruan Mei as ghouls, while Aventurine, Topaz, and Robin work for and have family ties to the CCG respectively. Ratio and Ruan Mei are the careful types, while Sparkle is a little more wild with it. She will go out hunting for her own food, and if it's a bust, then she crashes at Ratio's place to lay low. Ratio, on the other hand, relies on the safer resources and will rarely go out to hunt. He will only do it if he's running low and is really desperate. Ruan Mei is similar, but she'd rather hire someone to do the dirty work.

Aventurine would be the type to use a defensive but brutal qinque, and at first, he doesn't see the ghouls as something worth mourning for. Whether it's a quick or painful death doesn't matter to him. The only missions he won't take are those involving kids. Topaz would opt for something quick, as she finds it a bit distasteful to make her opponents suffer more than they need to. If she kills a ghoul that was well loved by friends and family, then she'll buy a single flower to bring home to respect the dead. Her coworkers (cough Aventurine cough) think she's weird for applying humanity to them, but she's just doing what she believes in. Robin, on the other hand, simply has ties with the CCG. She finds it distasteful that the CCG treats the ghouls as weapons to be harvested. She can't voice her discontent, however, or she'll be punished by the Family.

On to the actual relationships:

Aventurine and Ratio first meet at a cafe. Real meet-cute vibes. Aventurine falls in love almost immediately. Ratio, however, is wary because Aventurine is a well-known Dove. And while he is flattered, he would rather not risk the chance of betrayal down the line. So, while they exchange numbers, Ratio himself rarely starts a conversation. It isn't until Sparkle steals his phone and texts Aventurine a time and place that things start rolling. They go on a few dates and have a fun time, but when the topic of Aventurine's work comes up, Ratio's words become slightly stilted. Aventurine, at first, thinks he's simply scared of ghouls. So he decides to bend a few rules here and there to show off his qinque! Unlucky for him, it makes it worse because Ratio recognizes whose kagune it came from. Aventurine is unaware of this, so he keeps trying to show off how he works in eliminating ghouls. It isn't until Aventurine walks in on Ratio having a snack while on patrol that he gets it. And for the first time in his life, he doesn't know if he'll be able to kill him. His hands start shaking, there's recognition in Ratio's eyes, and he doesn't know what to do. Ratio gets away in time just as back-up come crawling in. Topaz gets one good look at him and says, "You finally get it now, huh?" And walks away. As soon as he gets home, he's spam calling Ratio to get some answers, but he always gets sent straight to voicemail.

Robin and Sparkle first met while Robin was sneaking out of the house. Sparkle at the time was looking for a good hunt but decided to spare Robin for another day. They have a fun night on the town before Sparkle, the gentle soul she definitely is, escorts her back home. Honestly, who would she be if she let some nefarious ghoul take her away? They dont know who each other are, just that they had fun. So they keep meeting up, and sometimes Sparkle will just break in unannounced and scare poor Robin. Eventually, Sparkle slips up and accidentally reveals her status as a ghoul to Robin, but instead of scorn, she's met with compassion. She doesn't understand it, but she's learned not to take things for granted, so she moves on. They fall in love gradually, but they are both aware that things could end at any moment, so they decide not to make things official yet. Unfortunately, the Family takes notice, and they call the CCG on Sparkle. As she runs through the streets for her life, she runs into Aventurine. He recognizes her almost immediately and offers her safety in exchange for leading him to Ratio. She has no time to think things over, so she agrees. When they reach Ratio's residence, he has one second of looking betrayed before Aventurine starts spilling his guts. Sparkle walks away because if she stays long enough to see them reconcile, then she'll feel extra bitter. It's not fair that they get their happy ending while she gets to rot. (She'll be unaware that in the midst of the chaos, Robin ran too.)

This is a bit hard to answer because it depends on what you mean by otome. Do you mean the traditional otome games or romance games in general.

Traditional otome games are dating visual novel games aimed at girls. While romance visual novels in general can be aimed at anyone.

So I’ll add a mix of them.

(Also a warning, you should check for triggers because some of these deal with religion, mature themes, blood, etc.)

For mobile:

Obey Me (I prefer the original one but you can technically play the second one without playing the first I believe)

These are romance visual novels on mobile so I have to warn you they are gacha based, especially obey me.

Obey me, I always warn more because it’s heavy gacha and events and seems endless, and with the recent rumors of quality lowering…well, I’ll leave that up to you.

In general, mobile games are more of a “daily” ticket gameplay. You can read a chapter a day for free unless you want to pay. If you’re patient, I would say go for these options.

Calling Them With a Nickname/-chan Honorific

SUMMARY: Basically the title; calling various Tokyo Revengers characters with the -chan honorific (and a nickname, sometimes) WORD COUNT: 1.2k

A/N: I dunno I keep jokingly calling the characters in Tokyo Revengers -chan to show affection for them (totally not to make fun). Mikey/Sano Manjiro

You were frozen, eyes wide as a soft blush grew over your cheeks. You hadn't meant to call Mikey with an honorific—chan, no less—and you were worried on how the other would react.

"I- I'm sorry, Mikey, I didn't-"

"Call me that again."

"...What?" You stuttered slightly, not sure on what to say.

"Say what you called me again." He blinked, staring at you.

Was this a punishment...? "M-Mikey-chan...?"

You watched as Mikey's face brightened, smiling softly at you. "I like it when you say that... Say it more. Mkay, [Y/N]-chan?"

You felt your cheeks grow hot. "All right... But, one question."

"What is it?"

"Why didn't you yell at me when I said it the first time- I mean, we don't know each other and all..."

The male let out a soft huff before shaking his head. "Well, because I like you. And, I like being called nicknames by you. So." He shrugged slightly.

"...Okay..." You were confused, but a faint smile grew over your lips as you watched him.

"C'mon, let's go to a cafe- I want to eat the parfait there!"

"Wait- I thought you already ate one today?"

"It's a different store, [Y/N]-chan!"

Draken/Ryuguji Ken

"Ryu-chan! You look really pretty today!"

You were met with a blank stare.

"Huh?"

You stammered a little as you gazed into his eyes, hands raised placatingly. "Hey- Didn't mean any harm, I just wanted to see how you'd reac-"

"...Okay."

"Okay?"

"Yeah. I don't care."

Truth be told, he did care... And he spent a while in his bedroom, flustered at the fact that you called him with a nickname.

Baji Keisuke

"You can't just keep on beating people up like that, Baji-chan." You pouted softly at him, prodding his chest lightly. "Seriously. What's your reason this time?" You were too caught up with scolding him that you didn't notice the nickname that you said.

Baji was... 48% confused, 43% surprised, 8% annoyed, and 1% flustered. His thoughts were racing inside his head- did you actually call him a nickname, or was he just imagining it?

He just let out a soft huff, interrupting whatever trivial thing you were saying—probably telling him to stop being so reckless and stupid—before he picked you up, much to your surprise.

"Wh-what are you doing? Where-"

He just plopped you down on his bike, putting his helmet on you before sitting down. "Hang on tight, I'm taking you on a date."

"Wait why-"

"Because you called me 'Baji-chan.' And it was cute. And I like you."

"...This is a confession? Wait, when did I call you Baji-chan anyway-"

Matsuno Chifuyu

"Fuyu-chan- Can I have one of your romance manga?"

Double punch to Matsuno Chifuyu—wait no, triple punch. Firstly, you had called him with his first name. A nickname, at that. Secondly, there was the affectionate 'chan' honorific. Thirdly, a romance manga? One of his romance manga? Was this a sign for him to confess? All of his shoujo manga that he had read hadn't prepared him for this.

"Wh-which one?" He asked, flustered.

"Any- you know there was one you were recommending a while back. About a forward girl and a shy boy?" A smile tugged at your lips as you leaned closer. "I remember thinking that it sounded kinda like our relationship, mm?"

Relationship...?

Chifuyu let out a soft huff, trying to ignore how close you were, how flustered he was. "Yeah... I have it somewhere."

You let out a soft laugh before grabbing your phone, quickly taking a picture of him before he could react. "Baji-san was right, you did get super flustered-"

"What- hey- you better not send that to Baji-san, he'll laugh at me for days-"

Hanemiya Kazutora

"Kazu-chan. Look at me. You are not the horrible person you think you are."

Kazutora let out a soft huff. "Yeah, you're just obligated to say that."

Your nose scrunched up slightly. "No, I'm not. Don't be so dense, Kazu-chan." You gently bopped him on the nose. "Seriously. You deserve love, affection, friendship."

Kazutora shook his head. "But-"

"Shut up and listen to me, Kazutora."

He paused slightly. "...You stopped calling me that."

"Calling you what?" You blinked slightly.

"...Kazu-chan..." You watched as his cheeks flushed a soft red before feeling your cheeks heat up as well.

"Shit- I'm so sorry- didn't mean to-"

"Nah, it's okay. It's the only thing that makes your argument worth listening to."

"Well then, guess I'm gonna have to keep calling you Kazu-chan until you believe what I'm saying. Because you deserve everything good that this world has to offer."

Mitsuya Takashi

It wasn't any surprise when you called Mitsuya 'Taka-chan.' Probably because you were always with him and Hakkai.

Still, what surprised Mitsuya was the fact that you had done it on purpose.

His heart skipped a beat, a faint smile on his lips as he watched you.

"What's with the smile?" You asked teasingly.

"Nothing... I just like it when you call me 'Taka-chan.' It's cute."

"Really?" You let out a soft laugh, wrapping your arms around him. "Well, I'm glad. Though, you're smiling a bit more than when Hakkai-kun calls you 'Taka-chan'~ Any reason for that?"

"Mm, I'll tell you... If you kiss me first."

"All right, then."

"Wait no I was kidding, [Y/N]-chan-" Cue a flustered Mitsuya.

Hanma Shuji

"...Shu-chan? Did you just call me that?"

You tensed slightly, backing away. "N-no-" You stammered, eyes wide as a faint blush grew on your cheeks.

"You did, didn't you..."

You shook your head slightly before a soft squeak left your lips as his arms wrapped around you, pulling you into a hug. You felt your cheeks burn as you just hugged him back. "...You're touch-starved."

"What- No I'm not, love."

"Yes you are. And it's not like you're in love with me-"

"But I am-"

"...What." You blinked slightly as you watched him.

"[Y/N]-chan- It's true! So call me Shu-chan more." He pouted softly at you, and you could only relent, eyes softening a bit as you watched him.

"Fine... Only to calling you Shu-chan, though."

"Hey!"

Shiba Hakkai

Watch Hakkai literally freeze.

"Hakkai-chan?" You ask again, an innocent look on your face. "Can you please help me with my homework?"

You watched in amusement as his cheeks flushed brightly.

He knew what you were doing, how you were trying to make him more flustered and unable to speak than usual. He was pretty used to being around you, to the point where it was fairly easy to talk to you, but... Still, when you wanted to be flirty, it broke him.

He looked away from you, pressing his lips together as he didn't look you in the eye, feeling his cheeks heat up even more. "Wh- what..."

"It's for math. Help-" You got rid of the teasing look, poking the male gently.

"O-oh..." He mumbled, looking at the papers.

"...Wait, [Y/N]- I thought you were the smart one here."

Kisaki Tetta

Welp. You were dead.

That was the thought that flashed through your head, as well as regret and a tiny- tiny- bit of fear.

After all, you had called him Tetta-chan- either he would think you were making fun of him, or that you were flirting- neither of which you wanted to think about.

Before he had the chance to reply, you just dashed off, sprinting as fast as you could.

By the time Kisaki had processed your words enough, you were long gone.

"Well..." He shook his head slightly with a soft sigh, feeling his cheeks heat up. "They're the only one allowed to call me that."

Hanma just let out a soft snort. "Tha has a nice ring to it, don't ya think, Tetta-chan~"

"Shut up."

Synopsis:

Y/n, the most powerful jujutsu in America, gets sent over to Japan to help the limited number of Jujutsu Sorcerers. Gojo quickly becomes a simp and decides to take Y/n on a whirlwind tour of Tokyo. That night, he makes a declaration.

Gojo was the strongest Jujutsu Sorceror in Japan. But so much responsibility was placed on him that he was under immense pressure. He was doing fine, but the council of elders were going crazy about the possibility that if Gojo ever died, Japan would be unprotected.

So they struck a deal with the States. The United States of America had enough strong Jujutsu Sorcerors to go around. So a swap was made. America didn’t have enough healers, so Shoko was sent over, and Japan didn’t have enough Special Grades so the strongest Sorceress in all of the States, Y/n, was sent over.

Gojo wasn’t a fan of some McDonald’s munching American walking around all high and mighty on his turf. So he was even more pissed when he was tasked with the measly chore of escorting Y/n to Jujutsu Tech. 

“I’m not here to babysit some brat.” Gojo spat. The elders weren’t having it. They forced Gojo to meet Y/n in a forest to fight a Special Grade, and then to show her the ropes of how Jujutsu worked in Japan.

Safe to say, Gojo was so, very wrong about Y/n. As soon as he saw Y/n, and as soon as she brought out a bag of expensive macarons from France saying “I snuck out before they could realise I was gone, this is for you.” he was down bad. And as the cherry on top, she had deep red eyes that mind-controlled the special grade to die easily.

Gojo was borderline obsessed by the time the first mission was over. “Why are you looking at me like that Gojo?” Y/n sighed. She wondered if he was like this to everyone. He was staring at her with a sappy grin as they were driving to Jujutsu tech. “Because you’re so pretty.” He said with a cat-like smirk. A blush bloomed on Y/n’s cheeks and he quickly turned away to the window of the car.

“Uh…Gojo. Why are we turning to Tokyo? I thought we were going to Jujutsu Tech?” Y/n frowned. “Yes. This is the way to Jujutsu Tech.” He whined a little because Y/n wasn’t paying attention to him. The driver, Ijichi scoffed. “Gojo forced me to bring you here Y/n. This isn’t the way to Jujutsu Tech.” Gojo pouted. “hey!” 

Y/n suddenly felt nauseous. “Uh, Gojo why did you bring me here?” 

Gojo, feeling all puffed up because Y/n’s attention was on him glanced at Y/n ominously. “We are going on a Tokyo date!” He made a silly face with a peace sign. “Gojo. Turn the car around right now.” Y/n hissed. “We barely even know each other!” She made furious hand gestures. Gojo grabbed Y/n’s hands in the middle of one of her gestures and held them. His grip was so strong that she couldn’t let go. “All the more reason to get to know each other right? We are going to be working closely together for the rest of our lives.”

A blush heated Y/n’s face for the second time. She turned her head away. “This is kidnapping.” She declared. Gojo chuckled, thinking that Y/n looked so cute and flustered.

Gojo took y/n sightseeing the entire day. They visited Akihabara and the maid cafes (to Y/n’s disdain he was a regular) and bonded over their sweet tooths rotting them out while walking around Tokyo eating giant sticks of cotton candy. As the sun set and the moon came up he took Y/n to see the Tokyo Skytree. Y/n gasped but quickly regained her composure. She didn’t want to give Gojo the satisfaction. The colours changed and travelled up and down the Skytree. Y/n stole a glance at Gojo and her breath caught in her throat. He looked majestic. He took off his blindfold to see the sky tree properly and the colours illuminated beautifully on his cerulean eyes.

When Y/n suspected that Gojo was too emersed in the sky tree to notice her she allowed a large smile to bloom across her face in delight at the sight of the lights. Gojo discreetly took a photo and stared at Y/n in awe and love. Just the first day of meeting her and I’m already like this, thought Gojo. He silently made up his mind that night. And when Gojo made up his mind, there was nothing, heaven or hell, that could stop him from achieving it.

I swear I will marry Y/n.

Maid Cafe on Electric Street coming to consoles - Gematsu

“Console versions” of Maid Cafe on Electric Street are in development, publisher PLAYISM and developer Adventurer’s Tavern announced. Specific platforms were not announced.

The adventure game was previously announced as launching for PC via Steam this summer—but that window has passed and new release timing has yet to be confirmed by PLAYISM.

The PC version of Maid Cafe on Electric Street will be playable at the Konami booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which will run from September 26 to 29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

The Four Main Girls of Fuwa Fuwa

Shiro – “Um, please be the new manager of the cafe!” A maid who loves Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. A huge otaku for anime and video games, she talks really fast when she’s gushing about the things she loves, and often splurges on merch without thinking whenever she visits an anime shop. A little clumsy, but works hard every day to become the cute maid she’s always wanted to be.

Miyu – “Hey Mr. Manager, thanks a bunch for hanging out with me today~☆” A game otaku and gyaru with a big appetite. Loves both eating and cooking, and apparently really enjoys serving her cooking to customers at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. Is actually Shiro’s friend on the online game Magic Angel, so they knew each other before actually meeting in real life.

Favna – “I am the Slayer of the False God, the Queen of the Kingdom of Darkness, the All-Seeing Oracle, the Guardian of the Dream of All Things—“ A mysterious girl dressed in gothic Lolita fashion. Speaks in riddles and demands the protagonist become her familiar. She sometimes accidentally drops the edgy act when she’s taken by surprise though, so maybe she’s just got a serious case of chuunibyou…?

Honoka – “Ya want a thrivin’ business? That there sounds like a job for our shrine!” A girl with a Kansaiben dialect who works as a shrine maiden at her family shrine. Practically in charge of the shrine, she is reliable and very good at handling money, and has a strong sense of responsibility to boot. On top of that, she’s also the only glasses girl at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe!

Support Your Maid Cafe Employees as the Manager

As the cafe manager, it’s your job to allocate work to your maids. Make sure to give the right girl the right job! For example, Shiro is always enthusiastic to serve customers, and Miyu is great in the kitchen. Of course, you can’t just sit there while they work. During opening hours, you’ll also have to make coffee and help out on the floor, so it’s not as easy as it sounds!

The Stunning Sights of Nipponbashi

In order to recreate the atmosphere of the real Nipponbashi, the game features several real stores you can find there, such as Surugaya, Sofmap, Dragon Star, Super Potato, and Karaoke Rainbow, among many others. If you’ve been to the real Nipponbashi, you’ll know that there are capsule toy machines all over the area. In this game, you can also try your hand at collecting your favorite capsule toy series and experience that unique gacha thrill of not knowing what you’re getting.
